June Bunch's narrative style sparked from melodic strings and distinctive storytelling cues: "Traveling Mess" emptied her gas down a backroad.  "Morrison" scorched her senses in in the desert.  "Storm Dancing" painted the path of a hurricane...and so on.

Originally a street performer in Asheville, June wrote and performed her music as early as 2013. She built a sidewalk following and eventual accompaniment along the way. She studied Joni Mitchell,  Nina Simone, and Adrianne Lenker, and carved her own chronicles into responses.

Alongside her music, June Bunch's creative work revolved around nature. She studied plants and wildlife, explored trails and shared her knowledge - from the arctic to the tropics.  Many of her songs came from these nature-rich settings.
