About June:
June Bunch spins sensory cues and story-telling trails into her lyrics, taking listeners on a ride with her finger-plucked ukulele strings:
"Traveling Mess" empties your gas tank on a long Appalachian country road. "Moab" speaks of disappearing in the desert. "Storm Dancing" paints you into an approaching hurricane. And the list goes on.
Originally a street performer in Asheville, June began by collaborating and growing alongside local musicians, eventually creating the Pop-Up Music Co-op in 2016, to connect musicians into seasonal groups. Once she hit the road solo, June shared songs founded by that community spirit.
She has recorded with artists including Will Quinlan, Clouds of Reason, Hummingbird Elephant, and Hot Grandpa.
